Presentation
This very compact antenna combines :
- a VHF antenna specially tuned to the AIS frequency (162 MHz)
- a high-gain passive GPS antenna
The GV30 antenna can be mounted on most standard Glomex-type antenna brackets (with 1" diameter thread).
Note: these brackets need to be purchased separately from your usual chandler. The stainless steel bracket shown in the photo is not included.
It comes with 2 output cables (one for VHF/AIS, the other for GPS) 10m long, fitted with FME-type mini-connectors for easy cable routing. Adapters for TNC and BMC connectors are supplied.
Compatibility
The GV30 mixed antenna from Digital Yacht is primarily designed for use with the manufacturer's AIS products, notably iAISTX, iAISTX Plus and NOMAD2.
It is also adaptable to most AIS transponders equipped with an internal GPS with a connector for a passive antenna, with compatible connectors.
