The WLN 10 Smart is a wifi adapter for transferring NMEA0183* data streams to any device with a Wi-Fi connection: iPhone, iPad, Android, laptop, etc. It creates a WiFi access point and sends data over Wi-Fi (TCP/IP or UDP) to compatible marine navigation applications such as iNavX, Weather4D, Sailgrib, etc.

Data can be sent to up to 7 devices simultaneously. Depending on the characteristics of the NMEA data, it can be set to 4800 baud or 38400 baud (for AIS in particular) via a simple web interface accessible from any Internet browser on a tablet or smartphone.
