Button and sealing plug for the "Home" button on Andres Industries aiShells*.


* Only for older aiShell models with central button. Warning: not compatible with iPad Cases!

How to operate

To change this button, you must :

  • remove the old button and, if necessary, recover its hard plastic core.
  • gently clean/scrape off any residual black rubber that may have stuck to it. The aim is to keep the bonding surface as smooth as possible
  • heat the black part with a hair dryer
  • bond with liquid cyanolite glue around the edges
  • re-insert the hard plastic core
  • perform a test run using the iPad
  • remove the iPad and perform a vacuum leak test (10min immersion) before use!
