Waterproof USB double socket - Scanstrut

This waterproof plug is easy to install in the cockpit of a boat and allows you to connect one or two standard USB cables "securely", protecting the connection from moisture.

Important: it is not necessary to use the Scanstrut cables shown in the picture, it is possible to use any standard USB cable (type A), including the aiShell cables sold elsewhere on this site!

Waterproofing is ensured by a cover that presses the cable(s) onto a rubberized part whose shape prevents water from entering. The whole system remains waterproof even in the absence of cables.

The product includes two female USB connectors that share a maximum total current of 4.2A: it is therefore possible to charge two iPads simultaneously.

The assembly is done in a pass-through design, with a standard sized barrel (30mm hole - max. thickness 25mm) held by a locking nut. An additional screw compresses a gasket at this level, and prevents the plug from rotating.

Attention: no cable is provided, you will have to do the wiring yourself on the 12V network, preferably with fuse protection.
