Extremely robust waterproof protection
The aiShell 9.7 is a shockproof, waterproof case for iPad 9.7".
It's made up of two rigid half-shells, closed by latches that ensure high, well-distributed pressure on the gasket. This construction provides exceptional durability and shock resistance. This practical design allows the case to be opened and closed repeatedly in seconds, with no wear and tear over time. Simply place the iPad in the rear section and fold the front section down like a book, then close the latches.
The case enables use of the iPad's various buttons (On/Off, Home, Volume + and -) and front and rear cameras (including flash), well protected by transparent glass. This case is also compatible with the iPad's brightness sensor, enabling automatic adjustment to ambient light.
It also features retractable feet to tilt the iPad for more comfortable use of the touch keyboard. Finally, there areaccessory slots on 3 sides, allowing you to attach anti-slip pads (supplied) to the edge, or a stylus holder (supplied), or the 9.7 sun visor or a side handle.
Ultra-transparent touchscreen film
The case features an ultra-transparent film to protect the screen, easily replaceable in the event of damage. It offers the same tactile sensation as the bare screen, while protecting the latter and reducing fingerprints.
This taut, non-adhesive film avoids the traditional problems of ripples or air bubbles that impair readability in sunlight. To further enhance readability, this case can also be fitted with an exclusive sunshield.
Charging
The aiShell case offers 3 options for recharging the iPad without removing it from its protective cover:
- with the standard Apple cable (not waterproof)
- with the Lightning aiShell waterproof cable , for 100% waterproof recharging and greater safety in wet environments
- with theCar Cradle powered clamp for 100% waterproof charging and total freedom of movement
Fastening
One of the advantages of aiShells is the multiplicity of fastening solutions:
- There's a quick-release bracket that allows you to attach/detach the shell instantly and with just one hand. This clamp can be screwed directly onto a wall, or mounted on an articulated arm to orientate the iPad. The assembly can then be adapted for mounting on a tube or with suction cups.
- The aforementionedCar Cradle powered clamp is also a charging cradle: no need to attach a cable to the case to keep it charged!
- last but not least, an optional strap , rear handle or side handle can be fitted using non-through screws, so there's no risk to waterproofing.
Note: it is also possible to screw accessories (e.g. a RAM base) directly to the back of the case, but this solution is more suited to permanent mounting
