The aiShell 12 is a 100% waterproof and shockproof case manufactured by the German company Andres Industries. It is part of a long line of rugged protections developed by this manufacturer for all iPad models since 2010.

It consists of 2 rigid half-shells hinged on a stainless steel axle, opening like a book. Simply place the iPad Pro 12.9 in the case and close the latches around the edges and that's it: your tablet is 100% protected! This proven system allows repeated opening and closing, without any wear or risk to the waterproofing.

On the front, the aiShell 12 integrates a high-end protective film that allows you to fully use the touch screen with the same feeling as the bare screen: sensitivity and transparency are perfectly preserved. This film not only provides waterproof protection, but also provides additional mechanical protection against moderate shocks. It can be exchanged if damaged.

Buttons on the periphery allow the volume level to be adjusted, and the iPad's on/off button to be operated without removing it from its protection.

Four rubber pads on the underside provide a very effective anti-slip function. In addition, two folding feet allow the tablet to be tilted slightly for improved typing comfort.

Accessory slots around the edge of the tablet provide space for rubber anti-slip pads on the side to prevent the tablet from slipping when placed on its edge, and a pen holder (both included). Other optional accessories can be fitted, such as a side handle or a sun visor.

In the lower part of the waterproof shell, there is an opening for access to the iPad's charging connector. When not in use, this opening is closed by a sealing plug (attached to the shell).

In a well protected environment, the original USB-C cable from Apple can be used. However for connection in a wet or dusty environment, it is recommended to use the waterproof USB-C cable supplied by the manufacturer, allowing safe use, even, for example, in continuous rain.

Still for use in a wet environment, another solution provides both charging and attachment: the USB-C Car Cradle. This is the ultimate solution because it allows you to keep complete freedom of movement with the iPad, while providing recharge each time the iPad is reinstalled in the cradle!

The main recommended mounting accessory is the aiShell12 bracket which allows the iPad to be attached/removed in a fraction of a second, and with one hand. This bracket can be mounted directly on a wall, although it is recommended that it be mounted on a articulated arm so that it can be oriented towards the user.

In addition, the case has several inserts on the rear side to allow other accessories to be screwed on, such as a round plate, a rear handle or a shoulder strap. To meet the common needs of boaters, iTabNav offers two "case + mount" promotional packs:
