AYETIDES / AYETIDES XL

This application provides tide and current schedules and heights from nearly 12,500 tide or current stations around the world, including 160 stations in France until 2030.

The predictions are based on a perpetual calendar and adjusted harmonic calculations, offering results that are generally very accurate, with deviations of less than 3% compared to SHOM forecasts for France, and are regularly updated for free. This avoids the need to subscribe to an annual subscription and does not require an internet connection, as the database is integrated.

The GPS position is displayed on the map when the application starts, allowing direct access to the nearest stations. Other search methods are also available to select the stations.

AyeTides can be synchronized with iNavX to directly display the list of stations closest to your location on the map. AyeTides is available on the App Store with a French translation by Francis Fustier.

This French application offers an aesthetic and functional interface to check the tide forecasts from SHOM for the French, Belgian, and Anglo-Norman coasts. The author, having an official contract with the SHOM, ensures the reliability of the data.

Today's information is accessible for free, while the forecasts require a monthly, semi-annual, or annual subscription due to the paid nature of SHOM's data. Predictions are available up to a year in advance, facilitating holiday planning.

The application offers a calendar of tide coefficients, useful for shore fishing, a tide graph, a tide clock, and the ability to add a threshold or draft to calculate schedules, ideal for ports with locks or thresholds.

This application provides tide times, heights, and coefficients for over 150 French ports as well as some ports in Great Britain. The calculations are based on the harmonic constants from Previmer.

It works autonomously: an internet connection is only required for updates and displaying maps.

No advertisements are present. The application does not use geolocation data outside of its scope and is solely intended to locate the nearest port.

It is possible to set a threshold (maximum or minimum), a water height, or a specific tide time. Tide tables and tide graphs are printable.

It is a comprehensive tide prediction application, featuring a basic yet extremely user-friendly interface for holidaymakers, fishermen, and sailors.
