Bad Elf GPS Pro Bluetooth GPS Receiver for iPad

The Bad Elf GPS Pro is an external wireless GPS. It can be used stand-alone (e.g. for hiking) or in conjunction with other mobile devices. It is certified by Apple for iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch.

As a reminder, GPS is a system that can be positioned precisely at any point on the globe, and therefore also in the middle of the oceans, via different satellite networks. If today one finds a GPS chip in many mobile devices, some are deprived of it, in particular all the iPad wifi-only models. The GNS2000 provides GPS positioning to these devices, making them usable for maritime, air or land navigation.

The Bad Elf GPS Pro includes a small LCD screen allowing you to :

- check GPS reception quality

- view GPS coordinates, speed and altitude

- initiate/stop the Bluetooth connection

- Start datalogging: record GPS tracks without leaving the iPad on, then view in a compatible application. Capacity more than 100 hours of log.

The controls are accessible via 3 side buttons.

The Bad Elf GPS Pro includes a long life battery, rechargeable by USB (with the supplied cigarette lighter charger, or any USB charger): 16 h. in continuous operation with Bluetooth connection, 32 h. by turning off Bluetooth.

The Bad Elf GPS Pro fuels the device's internal location services with its localization data.

It is therefore compatible with all applications using localization services, in particular land, sea or air navigation or performance monitoring applications.

It can be used either in continuous connection with an Apple device or in stand-alone mode. In the latter case, it can record the tracks and then display them on the smartphone or tablet screen
