Like the following iAIS application, Watcheye AIS enables to visualize AIS data* in two modes : a radar like mode, and a list mode. In each case, surrounding ships' names, speed, course etc can be viewed.
But most importantly, it is the first iPad app that can manage anticollision alarms (CPA - Closest Point of Approach and TCPA - Time to CPA). A great plus for security !
Needs an AIS receiver able to send wirelessly AIS data to the iPad, like the iAIS
